What if you could discover your girlfriend’s secrets?
Tommaso (Edoardo Leo, Perfect Strangers IFF17) and Zoe (Marta Nieto, The Ministry of Time) have been together for ten years. A stubborn writer, he answers the ‘Agony Aunt’ column of a women’s magazine under the pseudonym Marquez, a secret he has never revealed to Zoe.
One day, amongst several letters, he receives one from a girl asking for advice on how to break up with her boyfriend. It is Zoe, his girlfriend. He decides to answer her privately under his pseudonym asking for more details and discovers problems he was unaware of.
Meanwhile, another love story is unfolding between the mayor of Rome, Elena (Claudia Gerini) and her husband (Stefano Fresi) who is thinking about leaving her.
Directed by, starring and co-written by Edoardo Leo, this romantic comedy asks how difficult it is to separate after a long relationship and pays homage to the gorgeous eternal city, Rome.

Multi award-winning Roman actor/director/screenwriter Edoardo Leo made his debut in 1994, after attending acting classes from a young age. Nominated for the Best New Director David di Donatello award for his debut film 18 Years Later (2010), Leo has now directed six films including The Legendary Giulia (IFF15). A festival favourite, Leo has starred in I Can Quit Whenever I Want (IFF14), Perfect Strangers (IFF17) and The Goddess of Fortune (IFF20).
